A lifting solution was required to facilitate the handling of finished manufactured product for a new planned production line.  A lifting mechanism was required to travel freely while supporting the maximum design load.

Induspec measured the existing monorail cranes and prepared a 3D model of the structures.  Induspec’s structural analysis revealed that the existing structure could be modified and reinforced in a simple and non-obtrusive manner to support a second hoist and provide the desired lifting capacity.  Induspec designed beam reinforcement, bracing and struts to stiffen and strengthen the monorail cranes structure, provided the client with sealed fabrication design drawings, loaded-tested and commissioned the cranes for the intended design load.
